I've been busy

Creating some more flowers and bits n bobs for A Pocketful Of Pretties.

Having the kiddies home on School holidays has hindered my craft time, but I have so many ideas floating around and I can't wait to try them out! It has been really lovely having Dominic & Scarlett home. They got along quite well and we all enjoyed our Easter with friends and family.

It's nice to have the house a wee bit quiet though :)

Time to clean up all the mess and washing that's accumulated.

Excited!!!

Tonight is the big grand opening of my store A Pocketful of Pretties. It's so unreal that this has come together in less than a month! I am so excited to be sharing my handmade creations with you all. Nervous too, butterflies in the tummy just won't go away LOL!


Thankyou to everyone who has taken an interest in my new little venture. I really do appreciate all the comments and support from you all! Mwah!

Exciting News!!

I have been looking for work since the kids returned to school and now that Scarlett is in prep, it was something I really wanted to do. It has proven to be a lot harder than I thought!


I was scrapping one night with Monica and I happened to show her some of my flowers that I have been making and she suggested (or TOLD ) me that I should make them to sell. I was a bit dubious at first, thinking who would want to buy them, but I decided to take the plunge and A POCKETFUL OF PRETTIES was born :)


 So, I will be selling my handmade fabric flowers and stickpins and each fortnight I will showcase more pretties to buy. All details are on the blog and you can get information by clicking the links at the top.

Welcome to my new blog!

And let's hope I can keep this one updated more than the other one LOL!


It's been quite a while since I blogged and the time away from everything has been good. But I am ready to start scrapping again and having some fun!


I now have a new scrap space that is light and airy and it certainly has motivated me to scrap more. Thanks to Paul who made me 2 giant tables so that I can have my friends over for scrap nights - it's proved to be quite the hit LOL.


I do have something exciting to share and I'll pop that into a new post!
